One plus 7t

The OnePlus 7T combines all the best features of the 7 Pro, like a 90 Hz display and a three-camera system, at a lower price. The smartphone is priced at $ 599 (59 thousand rubles), it is one of the best phones on the market.

Speed, functionality and experience have always been a key part of OnePlus’ spirit. Her devices invariably delivered one of the most comfortable sensations on Android at a price affordable to many. When the 7 Pro was launched, it still did more good than any other phone for the money, but OnePlus clearly wanted to compete in the premium segment rather than dominate the middle class.

The OnePlus 7T smartphone is a true comeback for the company. It offers many of the same features as the 7 Pro for $ 600, and has a Snapdragon 855 Plus with a 90 Hz display. In this review, I tested the 7T model in Glacial Blue with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory running Oxygen OS version 10.0.1 based on Android 10.

What is in the box?
OnePlus 7T.
TPU case.
USB-A cable to USB-C.
30 W Warp Charge Charger.
Instructions for the user.
The OnePlus 7T comes with the new Warp Charge 30T charger. It’s a 30-watt unit, but OnePlus claims they have optimized power transmission. Therefore, the device can charge phones 27% faster than the Warp Charge 30 in previous models. The charger also protects the phone from overheating by converting the voltage to 5V / 6A in the unit, instead of converting it on the device.

As with the 7 Pro, the 7T also comes with a TPU case. I am always glad to see such additions in the box, especially since OnePlus offers some of the highest quality such accessories on the market.

Design and appearance
The OnePlus 7T looks similar to the OnePlus 7 in front, but is very different in the back. The screen is located slightly higher, which provides a greater ratio of 20: 9. This increases the size of the display to 6.55 inches compared to 6.41 in 7-ke, the change is noticeable in the hand. The phone looks more attractive, and I enjoyed it while working with the device.

The drop-shaped notch on the front is slightly reduced. Despite the fact that it is not so noticeable compared to OnePlus 7, it is nice to see that OnePlus is trying to reduce it as much as possible. Many of the devices that 7T competes with have completely eliminated the cutout, and I’m sure OnePlus will continue to reduce the gaps in its devices over time.

The sides of the device look almost identical to OnePlus 7 and 6T. The volume buttons occupy the left edge, and the power and notification switch are located on the right. Below you will find a speaker, a USB-C port and a tray for two SIM cards. The back of the device is covered with a familiar glass – the same as the OnePlus 6T, 7 and 7 Pro, but this glass contains a completely new camera module. It has a round shape similar to that of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. This is almost the same camera system as in OnePlus 7 Pro, but instead of 3x here 2x – without optical image stabilization. Under the central lens there is a two-color flash.

Unfortunately, OnePlus has not officially certified 7T with an IP rating, which is standard for the company. The manufacturer claims to conduct independent water resistance tests to reduce costs. However, you should not take it in the shower.

Smartphone display
In the new OnePlus 7T we get a 6.55-inch 90 Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 Full HD + and an aspect ratio of 20: 9, with HDR10 / HDR + and 42% reduction in blue light certification. OnePlus also endowed the 7T screen with a frequency of 90 Hz, every time I switch to the panel with a high refresh rate, I wonder how I could do without it. Even simple scrolling looks incredible at best, as most of the displays you use daily have a maximum of 50 or 60 Hz. It is really difficult for me to explain this phenomenon, so I recommend that you take a look at it yourself in the nearest store.

The new 7T is equally equally incredible in overall display quality. I conducted a series of tests with the device, and the phone came out in first place, bypassing even the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, in a number of ways. Considering how much Samsung boasts of the quality of its panels, this is a huge achievement. However, the Note 10 Plus surpasses the 7T in resolution because OnePlus opted for 1080p for this device. But, the OnePlus 7T screen came forward in all other areas that I checked, including color temperature, color accuracy, maximum brightness and gamma accuracy. In general, this 1080p panel looks absolutely incredible, and it is better read thanks to brighter lighting.

The screen is also compatible with HDR10 and HDR +, meaning that it can correctly display content with a lot of information about color and contrast. Services like Netflix are actively adding HDR content for consumption. The fingerprint reader on the display, although here it is not as fast and accurate as on the OnePlus 7 Pro. I usually needed to put a finger a couple of times before it unlocked the device.

OnePlus 7T Cameras
Traditionally, OnePlus cameras have not been surprising. The company has always touted large pixels and better performance in low light, but over the years we have not seen significant improvements here. Therefore, it was unexpected when the manufacturer began to release frequent camera software updates for the 7 Pro. At the time of launch, he had a decent set of cameras, but not fantastic. However, over time, the images got better and better, and now they are pretty darn good.

Speaking of the OnePlus 7T, the company has ported improved camera software to this device. With good lighting, the images from the new phone are simply fantastic. For a device that costs less than 40 thousand rubles, this should be one of the best systems available at the moment.

The OnePlus 7T has three cameras at the back, similar to the 7 Pro. The main one is the Sony IMX 586 48-megapixel lens, in which images are compressed to 12 megapixels for better light collection. The wide-angle lens is technically a 13-megapixel sensor, but it produces 12-megapixel shots in order to enable electronic stabilization without noticeable cropping. The third camera is a 2x telephoto lens, compared to 3x in the 7 Pro. Unfortunately, in a 12-megapixel telephoto lens there is no optical stabilization, so when using it, you need to keep the focus more stable.

Photo quality
Images are clear, but not pointed, when the colors are generally gorgeous. There is a noticeable difference in the color profiles of a wide-angle, standard, and telephoto lens. This is probably due to the automatic white balance and the use of different sources at different focal lengths.

The dynamic range is very good, but it can be a little aggressive if the image has a lot of contrast. This is typical for smartphone cameras as they try to balance shadows and highlights. In a balanced state, I like the color profile that the 7T creates. It can be very moody in a good way, but it’s nice to get such stylized photos right from your smartphone’s camera.

Since OnePlus often improves on camera software, I won’t be surprised if we get a lot of updates in a short amount of time. The manufacturer even added a motor to the camera system so that we can take super-macro images – the resulting images are quite amazing. Then I felt how telephone cameras are beginning to become tools for everyday life.

All in all, I’m incredibly impressed with the camera system in the new OnePlus. In this price range it is difficult to find something better.

Software

OnePlus 7T runs on Oxygen OS 10 based on the Android 10 operating system, making it one of the first devices with the latest version of Android. The update makes obvious changes, like new navigation gestures and an option for dark mode. But, OnePlus says the software has over 370 settings and optimizations. Other changes include a new reading mode that can display low gamut color, an advanced Zen mode for longer breaks, and Game Space that optimizes games on your device with high definition.

The Oxygen OS shell is one of my favorites. It’s simple, and the existing vanilla Android add-ons are really useful. We have a built-in video recorder, reading mode, game mode and much more. I like how OnePlus made its interface fully functional, but at the same time well optimized.

My only comment on this version of Oxygen OS is the new gesture system. It is based on Android 10 gestures, so this is not exactly a OnePlus bug. You swipe up to get to the main screen, drag left or right to return, or up and hold for multitasking. I often had problems with multitasking, and the phone immediately returned to the application in which I was just in. Here you need to wait for the multitasking menu to pop up, and I think it is worth improving.

Performance and Tests
The heart of the OnePlus 7T is Qualcomm’s most powerful processor today – the Snapdragon 855 Plus. It is paired with an Adreno 640 GPU graphics accelerator, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory UFS 3.0. The motto of OnePlus has long been the slogan – “fast and smooth,” it is not surprising that the legacy continues. Oxygen OS is already quite minimalistic and optimized, but it is the powerful components under the case that make this device incredibly smooth and fast.

The Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, while there are only a few devices. This chip is clearly focused on games, with a rather significant increase in the GPU by 15% compared to 855. Given that OnePlus devices have long been considered undercover gaming phones, this makes sense. Honestly, I am impressed that OnePlus was able to offer us this chip at this price.

Another hardware feature that enables fast operation is UFS 3.0 storage. For the first time, the company introduced a much faster memory option with 7 Pro, and it is no less surprising that the function so quickly switched to a slightly more affordable device. 128 GB I think is enough for most users. Unfortunately, there is no room for expansion via microSD cards. Given that OnePlus offers only one specification for this phone, it’s nice to see 8 GB of RAM. The manufacturer has long been known for offering killer features at a low price, and this continues.

In tests, OnePlus 7T shows very good results. He scored 400 713 points in AnTuTu against 369 029 in Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus. In 3DMark it knocked out 6163 and 5408, in OpenGL and Vulcan, compared with 5692 and 5239 on Note 10 Plus. At Geekbench, I got 3690 and 11452 for single-core and multi-core tests, compared to Note 10 Plus scores of 3434 and 10854. In the Gary Speed Test G, the new 7 Pro completed the test in 1 minute 30 seconds, much like the Galaxy Note Plus.

Audio and sound
Alas, the OnePlus 7T does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, although it does have dual stereo speakers and they are very loud. When I tested them compared to Galaxy Note 10 Plus converters, they were noticeably louder and did not seem to be distorted at all, even at maximum volume. The bass was a little lacking, but the sound seemed clearer. In general, I really liked these speakers, and I think that you will also like them if you listen to music without an external source.

If you use high-quality Bluetooth headphones, OnePlus 7T supports Bluetooth 5.0, as well as aptX, aptX HD, LDAC and AAC codecs.

Battery autonomy
Here, OnePlus increased the battery capacity to 3800 mAh compared to 3700 mAh for OnePlus 7. But, the combination of a 90 Hz display and a processor with higher power consumption makes the new smartphone an average autonomous one. The battery works about the same as the Galaxy Note 10 Plus. Most of the days I could go on a single charge without a problem a working day, but often I had to recharge the phone if I planned to work at night. If you are interested, by the time I reached 5%, there were about 5 hours and 45 minutes on the screen.

Samsung galaxy z flip

Positioning
In 2019, flexible screen technology became mature enough to come into commercial products. The pioneer of these developments is Samsung, it spent about ten years developing such displays and that is why it was able to launch the first such product on the market – Galaxy Fold.

First look at Samsung Galaxy Z Flip – the second smartphone with a flexible screen
Surprisingly, all competitors without exception announced their products at the same time, but could not go on sale with them, the reason is either the lack of flexible screens or the cost of the products that they have to be sold at a loss, so the quantities are limited. Some products look great in pictures, but in real life they make you shrug your shoulders, they are too reminiscent of prototypes of the early stages, and not something serious.

Time and the market are putting everything in their place, despite the delay in the release of Fold due to American journalists who literally using pliers or other improvised tools tore the screen off the substrate, sales were at the forecast level. In 2019, a little less than 600 thousand units were sold around the world, and in the first month of sales, the demand was booming. This year, Fold’s sales continue, with a sequel to follow. And note that the new compact clamshell form factor was shown along with the S20 announcement, which is probably a hint that with the Note update, the Fold extension will also appear.

Samsung continues to consider the entire category of smartphones with flexible screens to be an experiment, in particular, the Z index, which, in the case of Z Flip, was even put in the name of the device. These are experimental, but commercial models. The logic of Samsung’s development is that the company tries the most interesting form factors, improves disclosure technology and at the same time makes devices for normal, everyday use, and not just demonstrations at exhibitions. Step by step, developing a category in which there are no serious competitors, as sales of other companies are either absent or these are very limited parties at the level of individual countries. The restriction is due to the lack of a finished product, the desire to reduce the number of negative reviews, but at the same time to collect some kind of PR about

If Fold is more a male product and sales have proved it, then Z Flip is more likely addressed to girls than to men. On the other hand, if a man wants to use such a device, there is nothing wrong with that. But even the choice of body colors for the device says that this model for women is two of the three colors clearly for the weaker sex.

First look at Samsung Galaxy Z Flip – the second smartphone with a flexible screen
Considering the different price positioning than Fold, the similarity in price with top-end devices from both Samsung and iPhone, but at the same time that the device has no analogues on the market, has a maximum image component, the demand for it will be higher than Fold. In Samsung, top managers said in an interview that sales of smartphones with flexible screens in 2020 will amount to about 6 million units in all markets. This is a balanced forecast, and it can be argued that the Galaxy Z Flip will be the most popular model. This device is extremely interesting, and it is no coincidence that the start of sales worldwide falls on February 14th. Let’s look at what this model is.

Design, dimensions, controls
When folded, the smartphone turns out to be very small, compact, it easily fits in a shirt pocket, and will not protrude in trousers either. Although in the folded state, the thickness of the apparatus is 17.3 mm, and in the open – 7.2 mm.

First look at Samsung Galaxy Z Flip – the second smartphone with a flexible screen
The first question that a person immediately asks what picks up Z Flip is – can it be opened with one hand? How tight is the opening mechanism? How do the halves fit, hang out or not?

So, you can open the device with one hand, of course, if you have big hands, like mine. For girls, this is not an option, since they usually have long nails, and this is a disaster with any cot. Since the mechanism allows you to fix the halves in any position, you need to “squeeze” to the end so that the device opens completely, all 180 degrees. Closing a cot is much easier, just slam it, and that’s it. There are rubber inserts on one side, so that in any movement the blow is not strong.

In about twenty minutes, people adjust to how to open the device with one hand. He conducted an experiment on girls, someone likes to do it with two hands, someone – one, everyone has his own approach. But the ergonomics of the solution is excellent, there is nothing to complain about.

As the body materials used glass (Corning Gorilla Glass 6), there are three colors.

First look at Samsung Galaxy Z Flip – the second smartphone with a flexible screenFirst look at Samsung Galaxy Z Flip – the second smartphone with a flexible screen
They again conjured over the disclosure mechanism, I will give an excerpt from the press release:

“The new hinge mechanism – the hidden hinge used in the Galaxy Z Flip is a true piece of engineering. Thanks to its two-jaw mechanism, this miniature, but at the same time sophisticated system ensures consistently precise operation of the hinge every time the device is folded or opened. Like a laptop screen, the Galaxy Z Flip can remain open at any angle. The hidden hinge uses a new cleaning technology, and microscopic length nylon fibers prevent dirt and dust from entering the mechanism. ”

This is the second generation of the hinge, the first is used in Fold, and it works fine, there are no breakages, but I use the device daily and open / close it at least a hundred times. And on the street in the rain or snow, at sub-zero temperatures or in California under the bright sun. He went through fire and water, several times fell both open and closed, there is even a decent dent on the protective cover of the hinge – but the smoking room is alive and working. They added technology to avoid even a hint of problems. And, as usual, all this is protected by a mass of patents so that competitors cannot repeat anything like that in the short term.

On the right side surface there is a power button, it is also a fingerprint sensor – exactly the same in Fold. Clicking on it is easy, the device unlocks. Moreover, you can press the button and simultaneously open the phone, the contents will become available to you instantly. But I’m sure that most will not do this, but simply put a finger when they open the smartphone.

Just like in Fold, there is only a slot for one nanoSIM card. The second eSIM card, you can use two cards simultaneously, but there is no memory card slot. For obvious reasons, the radio module in the device is one.

The case is made of glass, and it is very easily soiled, nothing can be done about it. It gets dirty quickly, there are no overlays, as in Fold, for this model yet, perhaps they will be made later. You have to wipe the phone from time to time, it collects prints very quickly.

Please note that next to the two main cameras is a small horizontal display.

Asus rog phone 2

Last year’s ASUS ROG Phone was powerful, brutal, stuffed with technology – a real monster. He literally took your money from your pocket, but I survived. Which, most likely, will not happen this time, because ASUS ROG Phone 2 is some kind of tin …

Before we start the review of ASUS ROG Phone 2, here are a couple of related materials on the topic:

Display, which are few
ASUS ROG Phone 2 has a unique matrix. The first is AMOLED. Secondly, the refresh rate of the picture here is 120 Hz (in the past generation, 90 Hz). The combination of these two technologies makes the screen unique – there is nothing like it on the market.

However, this is far from all. The response time is 1 ms – in principle, the same as in the predecessor . However, competitors have this value, as a rule, higher – somewhere around 25 ms.

AMOLED display ASUS ROG Phone 2

Another top feature is the sensitivity of the sensor layer of 240 Hz. I remember in the fall Apple introduced the iPhone XS Max with 120 Hz. It was great, but Asus has now gone further. Its touch layer responds to touch almost instantly – the delay is only 49 ms, and the Apple treadmill has 75 ms. Such a clear difference.

In addition, the ASUS ROG Phone 2 display boasts the following numbers:

6.59 inches, aspect ratio 19.5: 9
resolution 2340 by 1080 pixels, density 391 dpi
108% DCI-P3 color profile coverage
safety glass Gorilla Glass 6
scanner on screen (works fine)

Fierce performance
Games fly at the highest possible settings. Moreover, some titles are already optimized for a 120 Hz screen. For example, after running PUBG Mobile on ROG Phone 2, I refused to return the test instance to the manufacturer. He has a lot of samples, but now I can’t play the royal battle on any other device.

There is no throttling, because the smartphone does not overheat. Firstly, there is no such task that would be able to properly load it. During tight cuts, the temperature does not rise above 39 degrees. Secondly, performance does not drop, as this is prevented by the cooling system. The passive part in the face of the evaporation chamber is located inside.

Smartphone ASUS ROG Phone 2 with 12 GB of RAM

The active component on the outside is in the AeroActive Cooler II accessory with a built-in cooler and branded backlight. The gadget lowers the temperature of the device by 5 degrees, and also comes bundled with the device.

We’ll omit the benchmark results for now – I have only an engineering, not a final sample on my hands. However, I can assure you that the numbers are impressive even now.

Asus ROG Phone ZS600KL accessories
On the example of the first generation

A significant part in the top performance is taken by the type of internal memory. ASUS ROG Phone 2 is the third smartphone in the world that runs on a UFS 3.0 flash drive. If anything, the first was Samsung Fold , which no one already remembers. The second was OnePlus 7 Pro , which is at least for sale. However, the main thing is different – the reading standard of the new standard is about 1.5 GB / s, which is two times higher than UFS 2.1.

Brutal design
I am extremely skeptical of all gaming gimmicks. Not a fan of an elaborate designer, and I don’t really play games either. However, the exterior of ROG Phone 2 came to me.

A hole for removing heat from the body of the smartphone ASUS ROG Phone 2

Firstly, a huge display does its job. It is convenient to play on it, climb the Web, flipping Insta’s feed and much more useful and not very much. Secondly, the glass case: the 6th “gorilla” in front and some other (generation not specified) at the back. All elements fit together perfectly. Well, the control to the head is RGB-backlighting with the Republic of Gamers logo. Damn it! That looks cool!

Attention to detail is maximum. For example, on the back there is a tiny grille, which is not only for beauty. It releases excess heat from inside the case. Wah!

Buy ASUS ROG Phone 2

Further. A separate RGB LED is hidden directly under the LED flash, which sets fire to different colors of the rainbow logo on smartphone covers. It would seem that the backlight could be duplicated using the standard logo on the cover, but ASUS decided to get confused.

On the right side, which is in landscape orientation, is on top, there are two AirTriggers 2 sensor triggers. They are sensitive to touch, vibrate during use and are indicated by the corresponding pattern. Some games (Asphalt 9) have their own vibration feedback map.

AirTriggers 2 touch trigger in ASUS ROG Phone 2
AirTriggers 2

And that’s not all. There are two USB-C connectors on the case. One from the bottom is standard USB 2.0. The second high-speed (3.1) and is located on the side. In a horizontal position, he is exactly between the hands, thereby not interfering with the game. In addition, a ton of branded accessories are connected through this port, which we already managed to talk about here.

In addition to peak volume, sound pleases with quality. Even when the slider is twisted to the maximum, the speakers do not hiss, do not creak and do not make any extraneous sounds. Playing through the speakers in the same PUBG Mobile is very difficult – the sound of shots makes you startle every time.

Battery for many days
Here the golden rule worked. A screen with a large diagonal not only increases the dimensions of the case, but also allows you to install a capacious battery under the hood. In the case of ASUS ROG Phone 2, this is a battery for as many as 6 thousand “swings”.

It is too early to evaluate autonomy, yet only an engineering, non-profit model is on hand. However, it is now clear that the device will live absolutely calmly 2-3 full for away from the outlet during normal use. On the other hand, why buy ASUS ROG Phone 2, if you use it according to the standard scenario. The device needs to be thrashed in games, for this everything is created here. The manufacturer has already shared his information on this subject: 7.1 hours of continuous play in PUBG Mobile at the peak of graphics. Thumbs up!

Despite the fierce volume of the battery, the device charges quickly – in 1 hour 40 minutes. You do not need to buy a special adapter from ASUS for this. It is enough to use any 30 W power supply and a 3-amp cable for charging. Just!

There is no wireless charging. And this is perhaps the only thing that is not in this smartphone. In addition, the device itself does not know how to share energy. But willingly accepts from other smartphones.

Cameras in trend

I propose declaring 2019 the year of Sony IMX586.
I do not remember so popular among sensor manufacturers. Every second flagship today uses this particular matrix as the main camera.

ASUS ROG Phone 2 cameras

In general, I would not call the IMX586 a top-end sensor. With proper software optimization, it removes very, very decently. However, this year, the RYBY sensor in the Huawei P30 Pro and software from Google in the Pixel 3 series sets the bar for the quality of mobile photography .

Be that as it may, ASUS ROG Phone 2 should shoot with dignity. Not perfunctory, but very decent. Unfortunately, an engineering sample fell into my hands, so it’s too early to draw any conclusions about cameras. But here are the specs currently known to you:

48 megapixels – the main module Sony IMX586, aperture f / 1.79, pixel size 1.6 microns
13 megapixel – wide angle lens, angle 125 °
24 megapixel – f / 2.2 front camera (HDR and background blur are still available in 6-megapixel mode)
The smartphone writes video in 4K resolution at 60 FPS. It is still too early to evaluate the final quality. However, now we can say that the detail is at its best. Particularly struck by the lightning-fast refocusing on objects in the field of view of the camera.

Software
The smartphone runs on the ninth version of Android. Nothing is known about updating to future versions. In any case, the ROG UI shell is put at the forefront here. Catchy design, vivid animation (especially when you turn on the X-mode) – all this adds charm to the smartphone.

ASUS ROG Phone 2 SIM Card – No Micro SD Slot

Missing the stock “green robot” can rejoice. A smartphone with a clean Android theme will be provided. An unexpected and very right step from the manufacturer.

Particularly pleased with the game mode X. It optimizes and without such a weak system resources for games. There are a billion or two settings like custom controls, disabling notifications, screen recording, and much more. Most of all, the ability to track key indicators of a smartphone in real time came to me – the banner is placed directly on top of the games.

Total
ASUS promises a very reasonable price for the ROG Phone 2. Even though in stock it comes with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory of the UFS 3.1 standard. However, there is no exact information yet.

In general, it is very difficult to recall a smartphone stuffed with various technologies as generously. Here is an advanced cooling system, the world’s most productive Snapdragon 855+ chipset, an AMOLED panel with 120 Hz scan, two USB-C, and much more. Against the background of all this, there is a chance that the device will be of interest not only to gamers, but also to technologists. It’s nice when your device bypasses 95% of competitors in many ways, and in some ways is unique.

Reviews ASUS ROG Phone 2

There is also a chance that users who are tired of numerous bars of the same type with and without bangs will be interested in the device. Yes, the design of the new “horn” is not for everyone. But it is artsy (in a good way) and 100% unique. Well, the loud and high-quality speakers, as well as autonomy at the level of three days, will become pleasant bonuses for end users.

Moscow

UPDATE! Smartphone prices have just been announced for the Chinese market. In total, six options will be available, differing among themselves in the amount of internal memory and the number of nishtyaks in the kit. In the minimum configuration (8 + 128 GB of memory) for the device will be asked for $ 509 or 32 thousand rubles. Very sweet for such iron, is not it ?. An evil modification of 12 and 512 gigs will cost $ 901 or 57 thousand rubles. The model in the Esports Armor Version configuration (obviously, we are talking about a suitcase with all accessories) will cost $ 1,900 .

Poco F2 Review
For most people, Xiaomi is nothing more than the embodiment of cheap but high-quality smartphones. This does not diminish the brand’s achievements in the field of flagships, but nevertheless, it is difficult to compare the company with large players. But this is for now, because in 2019 Xiaomi is preparing the flagship Mi 9, which should turn out to be uncompromising with the most advanced technologies. In addition to top-end smartphones, the company plans to release a continuation of the device called Pocophone F2. The pioneer Pocophone F1 was introduced at the end of summer 2018 and the smartphone became the most affordable device based on the Snapdragon 845 processor. Nevertheless, it was difficult to call it a flagship, because it was trimmed in cameras, received a plastic case, lost an NFC and an AMOLED screen. On the other hand, mobile gamers and just people who value the power of iron, without hesitation, they began to acquire a novelty, since the price of a smartphone really turned out to be unrealistically low. On average, 22,000 rubles, and this at the time, as the most affordable flagship Mi 8 was sold for at least 27-28 thousand rubles. Now Xiaomi wants to repeat and consolidate the success with the release of the Pocophone F2, which, perhaps, will be able to wipe the nose of competitors with not only price, but also appearance.

Pocophone F2 – the cheapest flagship on the Snapdragon 855
According to the latest data, Xiaomi does not want to abandon the concept of the most affordable smartphone based on the top Qualcomm chip, so there will also be no full-fledged flagship Pocophone F2. At the same time, the device does not apply to sub-flagships, since flagship chipsets are never lower than devices. So what is a Pocophone F2? The answer is simple – it’s a pseudo-flagman, that is, a smartphone similar to a top-end smartphone, but not one.

The predecessor of the Pocophone F1 boasts only the most powerful chip, but the device was borrowed from cameras by sub-flagship solutions, the screen also “stole” from the middle segment, and the case turned out to be a cheap plastic solution. Therefore, the smartphone was bought, bought and will continue to be acquired only by lovers of the flagship iron, beyond power, since the device has no more reasons for pride. Yes, he takes good pictures, his screen is acceptable, but this is the level of smartphones up to 15,000 rubles. It turns out that the Pocophone F2 will completely repeat the fate of Xiaomi F1 and turn out to be a device with which you can only select a chipset? – Yes and no!

Pokofon F2 – smartphone design, case materials
Poco F1, although it received a budget housing, still Xiaomi designers endowed the device with fashionable monobrow. In 2019, the trend will not be a drop-shaped cutout, as some might think, but a hole in the screen under the front camera. Samsung and Honor have already shown their vision of such a design, and other manufacturers will soon catch up. OnePlus, Huawei, Moto and others. Therefore, Xiaomi decided so – Poco F2 should also correspond to the trends of 2019, so there are no monobrow or drop-shaped cutouts, only a hole in the screen. The network even appeared renderings of the smartphone, which captured the full design of the new items. It is worth saying that this leak is not confirmed by any authoritative sources, so it should not be taken seriously.

So, the device should become completely frameless and on render frames are almost completely absent. However, this is certainly a lie, since the Poco F1 has more frames than the flagship Mi 8. Xiaomi will not make the most affordable device based on the Snapdragon 855 better than the Mi 9, so the smartphone will definitely get a chin and very noticeable frames around the entire perimeter of the screen. Also, the back cover of the device is imprinted on the renders, but it is impossible to understand what it is made of. Maybe glass, maybe plastic. We assume that the device will still receive an all-metal case. In addition, it is unlikely that the fingerprint scanner will move from the rear panel to the screen, but if this happens, then Xiaomi will use the oldest and slowest technology of the screen fingerprint. You need to save, minus no one is going to leave.

Pocophone F2 – specifications and camera
Most likely the device will receive a display with a diagonal of 6 to 6.3 inches with a resolution of Full HD +. No AMOLED, just an old, good IPS screen. The processor will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, which in addition to high performance will allow the device to work in networks of the 5th generation. Machine learning and all the power of the neural computing unit will allow Poco F2 to be as effective as other devices based on the Snapdragon 855. Since the smartphone will be the best solution for budget gaming, the RAM will be in the range of 6 to 8 GB, and the constant will be 64 up to 128 GB, although there is information about the 256 GB version of the device.

As for the main camera, only one is known so far – it will receive 4 photomodules. Such a decision seems unlikely, because before us is the most affordable smartphone on the Snapdragon 855, and not a full-fledged flagship. Yes, and the Poco F1 clearly does not flaunt a powerful camera, so the four-chamber Poco F2 is more of a throw than a truth. A dual camera device is provided, because even Mi 9 will receive a triple photo module. If somehow the Pocophone F1 gets four sensors, then this will be the level of the Galaxy A9. The Samsung device clearly does not shine with the quality of the photo, so there is no point in building cameras. Moreover, Xiaomi needs to save in order to invest in the budget of 300-350 dollars and the presence of countless cameras is clearly not conducive to this.

The current Poco F1 offers a 4000 mAh battery with support for fast charging. Poco F2 will also receive an immodest battery, but no longer 3800 mAh – nevertheless, due to the more energy-efficient process technology in 7-nm versus 10-nm, the difference in 200 mAh is leveled.

Pocophone F1 – release date and price
Most importantly, Poco F2 really continues the pleasant tradition with an incredibly low price tag in the presence of top-end iron. After all, there are fears that the Poco F1 was made in order to draw attention to the Xiaomi sub-brand and now the line will degenerate into an expensive flagship.

However, if you discard this, then expect the device is priced from 300 to 350 dollars, not more. It is too early to predict the device’s release date, but the Pocophone F2 is clearly coming sooner than its predecessor. Therefore, you should focus on the end of spring – the beginning of summer 2019.

Realme 6 pro

Realme does not interfere with the release of new phones. The more options, the better! But, when Realme 6 Pro fell into my hands, I immediately realized that this is another unusual smartphone with an excellent price-quality ratio. Yandex.Direct PC game without downloading 16+ With a starting price of $ 230 (16,500 p.), The 6 Pro received a 90-Hz display with a double hole for cameras, a Snapdragon 720G processor, Android 10 OS and four main lenses, the main of which is on 64-MP. You can also consider it as an alternative to Realme X2, in which the AMOLED display is replaced with an LCD panel with a high refresh rate. On paper, everything looks very attractive, so you ask yourself, what are the trade-offs? It is on them, I want to pay attention in this review. To try to understand whether it is worth buying or not. But before we dive into the Realme 6 Pro review, let’s take a quick look at the specifications and contents of the box. Characteristics and prices What is in the box? Design and screen Realme 6 Pro Cameras System and software Performance Sound and communication Battery autonomy Is it worth buying? See also: First review of Realme 6: a budget smartphone with a 90 Hz screen Features Realme 6 Pro and price Display 6.6-inch IPS LCD with a frequency of 90 Hz, 2400 × 1080 (Full HD +), Gorilla Glass 5, 400 nits brightness, 90.6% screen-to-body ratio, 400 ppi. CPU Snapdragon 720G GPU Adreno 618 RAM 4/6/8 GB LPDDR4x Inner memory 64/128 GB UFS 2.1; dedicated memory card slot up to 256 GB System and software Android 10, Realme UI Main camera 64-megapixel f / 1.8 (main) + 8-megapixel f / 2.3 (ultra wide-angle) 119˚ + 12-megapixel f / 2.5 (telephoto with 20x digital zoom) + 2-megapixel f / 2 , 4 (macro 4 cm). Front camera 16-MP f / 2.0 + 8-MP f / 2.2 105˚ Fingerprint scanner Capacitive (lateral) Dimensions and Weight 163.9 × 75.8 × 9.4 mm; 195 grams Battery 4300 mAh, 30 W fast charge Price From $ 230 (16,500 p.) What is in the box? Here is what we get in the yellow Realme box: Phone Realme 6 Pro. 30W fast charger. USB-C cable. Protective case. SIM extraction tool. Booklets and user guides. Design and screen Despite the fact that last year OnePlus popularized a refresh rate of 90 Hz, now Realme offers the same features several times cheaper. The 6 Pro is equipped with a large 6.6-inch display with FHD + resolution and a frequency of 90 Hz. But, we get this smoothness in exchange for the AMOLED-matrix, which took place in the previous series of Realme 5. After careful study, I realized that the new panel is worse than that of competitors. The colors are not entirely accurate and pale, despite this, the Realme 6 screen is brighter. The back of the device is made in a familiar style with an elongated camera module and a linear logo on the bottom. The 6 Pro is a little different than last year’s counterparts in its dynamic and sparkling texture at the back. This is a very attractive device. The phone is convenient to hold with one hand, it fits easily in the palm of your hand. The profile was also a little lightened. The front part is covered with durable glass, although the frame in the middle and the back are made of plastic. On the left side is the volume control and the SIM tray, on the right side is the power key with a built-in fingerprint scanner. At the bottom you will notice one speaker, a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm jack. Buttons are easily accessible and responsive, like a fingerprint scanner. Realme 6 Pro Cameras Here we get two cameras in front and four in the back. I will not bore you, repeating the characteristics. Let’s talk about their quality. The Samsung GW1 64MP lens is very capable. You can shoot in daylight with beautiful photos with decent shades, midtones and sharpness. Although I observed a shade change closer to green for ordinary and ultra-wide lenses, in general, the photos came out worthy. The presence of a variety of lenses in itself is a great achievement in this price segment. Here they all really work. Even at night, Realme 6 Pro cameras managed to capture really good shots. The night mode corrects the colors, and with it the noise. Turning to macro photography, I’ll say that this sensor can shoot parts from a distance of 4 cm from the lens. The results are quite tolerable. Yandex.Direct Colonize new planets Bring the subject to the forefront and the camera will not disappoint, although the dynamic range needs work. Portrait frames can be shared on social networks, although blurring may look a little unnatural. A convenient feature is the presence of a slider to adjust the level of blur of the bokeh background. Many advantages are hidden in the interface of the 6 Pro camera. Scroll a little and you will find many options. Here you can select options such as interval shooting, slow motion, panorama, Expert mode, full 64 MP, slow motion and video shooting up to 4K at 30 frames per second. System and software Realme 6 Pro works with the Android 10 operating system based on the Realme UI interface. With regards to optimization, this is one of the best software overlays in the Android world. A mixture of my favorite light fonts on dark backgrounds, resizable windows, the Digital Wellbeing toolbar, floating windows, game space and so on. However, some things can be improved here. For example, voice assistant or remove traces of ColorOS in haunting Realme UI updates. The smartphone comes with the latest security update. This aspect often remains underestimated, although it is no less important. Iron performance I have been looking forward to testing this device since I found out that it runs on a Snapdragon 720G processor. Downloading applications, multitasking, scrolling, performed with ease. Nevertheless, I will not call this device a “monster.” The chipset showed good results in tests and games like PUBG. For example, Battle Royale ran at 40 fps with medium-high settings. Part of the performance of 6 Pro is provided by the fast RAM LPDDR4x and UFS 2.1 in several configurations to choose from. But, an important factor is the optimized interface of Realme UI. This, in my opinion, is a tangible contrast compared to ColorOS on Realme X and 5 Pro. Sound and communication The sound coming out of the Realme 6 Pro speaker is private and soft, as you would expect. But, we have a 3.5 mm jack. So put on your favorite wired headphones and enjoy the music. Or go wireless, especially since it supports Bluetooth 5.1 and AAC / APTX / APTX-HD audio codecs. Come on, come on! Among other things, the phone is equipped with the ISRO NavIC navigation system out of the box. I could not verify it. However, in theory, it gives us better positioning accuracy in congested urban areas. Oh yes, the call quality is fine. There are no problems at all. Autonomy Realme 6 Pro Between the speaker grill and the hole of the 3.5 mm jack is a USB-C port. Through it, we can connect a 30 W fast charger if the 4300 mAh battery is depleted. Fast technology can recharge the battery to 100% in just an hour. Realme’s 6 Pro energy reserve should be enough for a normal business day. During testing, the phone provided 6-7 hours of operation on the screen. Thus, even if you suddenly run out of battery, you can quickly replenish its energies. Total The new Realme 6 Pro has many features and a double hole at the top of the display – a nice contrast to yesterday’s cuts and drops. Even though the plastic part does make the assembly a little cheaper, we have functional software, reliable optics and modern hardware. Is it worth buying? Yes, a better display and stereo speakers would make the device out of competition. But, if you are looking for a great deal, the 6 Pro has an amazing value for money.

Redmi note 9 pro

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone is focused on providing the buyer with the best value for money. While competition in the middle segment is growing, Redmi Note 9 Pro is committed to providing high performance and quality at an affordable price for most. Yandex.Direct PC game without downloading 16+ The importance of the Note series in the Redmi line cannot be overestimated. It is these smartphones that have helped Xiaomi achieve huge world popularity. More than 10 million phones were sold by Redmi Note 4 over the entire production cycle, and last year Redmi Note 7 and 7 Pro became one of the most popular models. Of course, competitors are closely watching Xiaomi. The main rival, Realme, has already launched a counterattack, launching really magnificent devices on the market that correspond to Xiaomi devices, and somewhere surpass them. Therefore, for Xiaomi it is all the more important to create a product that not only meets current trends, but also is directed forward. Is this a new device? Find out in my review of Redmi Note 9 Pro. Specifications Design and appearance Smartphone screen Note 9 Pro Cameras Software Iron performance Audio and sound quality Battery and Charging Price Redmi Note 9 Pro Is it worth buying? A distinctive element of this design is the back panel. Gradient, iridescent shiny glossy glass of Gorilla Glass 5. I had the Aurora Blue (blue) option on my test, which at right angles could look like a mirror. Of course, this makes the surface a fingerprint and dirt magnet. But, the use of a complete cover practically corrects the drawback if you do not want to constantly clean the stains. The main camera module is installed in the center. However, instead of vertical placement, all four lenses are enclosed in a rectangle, and the elements of the flash located under it. The module itself protrudes, clings to the jeans pocket, although the cover corrects this oversight. The big change in the Note 9 Pro is the switch to a side fingerprint scanner. It is built into the power key. I found that unlocking the phone is very fast. The button is intuitive, it is very easy to get it, even holding the device with one hand. What is not entirely intuitive is the non-segmented volumetric volume keys for sound control. They are carried too far up, on the right side, so it is almost impossible to get them without grabbing the smartphone with both hands. At the bottom edge you will find a USB-C port, as well as a headphone jack. On the left is a combined slot for two nano-SIM cards, as well as a microSD card, expanding memory. Yes, there is also an IR blaster on the top face. In general, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a conservative, but pleasant step forward in terms of aesthetics. However, with a weight of 209 g, it can be bulky. No, the phone is not waterproof, although it has a P2i coating that should provide some degree of protection against splashes. Smartphone screen On the front of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, things are a little different. We have a larger 6.67-inch display with a 20: 9 aspect ratio and a round neckline for the front camera. The resolution is still Full HD + with a panel providing clear colors even with the default settings. However, compared to the Poco X2 and rival Realme 6 Pro, the gadget did not receive a screen with a high refresh rate. Although the benefits of 90 Hz or even 120 Hz panels on mid-range phones are controversial, there is no doubt that the lack of an option puts the Note 9 Pro at a disadvantage compared to its competitors. Yandex.Direct PC game without downloading 16+ Redmi Note 9 Pro Cameras The four-camera module includes an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a rather dubious 2MP macro sensor. However, this time the main lens was the 48-megapixel Samsung GM2.level of camera quality in a smartphone called Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, which is equipped with a 64-megapixel sensor and faster charging. The Redmi Note 9 Pro cameras are fine. The good news is that Xiaomi has added very natural color options. Often the color temperature and white balance are accurate, which is clearly visible in the pictures. The dynamic range is also not bad, although some details remain in the shadow area. However, there is some softness in images captured using the Note 9 Pro. I do not mind the lack of excessive sharpness, but there is no detail on many scenes. Any photo taken up to 12 megapixels has an increased level of graininess and noticeable noise when viewing, regardless of lighting conditions. In most cases, it does not look very intrusive, but it becomes obvious when cropping. If you like to shoot wide shots or in portrait mode, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro will cope with this task quite well. The dynamic range is slightly limited when shooting with a wide-angle lens, when white balance may be slightly disturbed. Nevertheless, the mode works well when capturing a wide frame without much effort. Meanwhile, Xiaomi did a great job of optimizing the portrait mode, so the device is able to detect edges fantastically well, creating natural-looking blurring. A macro camera has been added, which does a good job. I’m a little fan of macro lenses, and would rather have a telephoto lens instead. Nevertheless, if you want to get to know things better, here you have the opportunity. The night mode in Redmi Note 9 Pro is noticeably difficult. The images from the main camera come out terribly grainy with digital artifacts and spots creating almost unusable problems. They improve slightly when you enable the night mode features, however, the image is far from praise, and here the Realme hardware surpasses the Note 9 Pro. But, the front camera produces reasonable selfies with 16 megapixel resolution. Xiaomi has also improved the video mode. The device now captures clear frames up to 4K at 30 frames per second, although exposure levels are constantly high. Software add-ons were added for the creators of video content, including a 21: 9 cinematic framing mode, as well as built-in filters. An excellent but redundant feature is to capture video directly from the sensor, which greatly simplifies color rendering in programs like Premiere Pro. Software One of the reasons Xiaomi manages to maintain low prices for its equipment is the addition of software services and advertising to the operating system. Redmi Note 9 Pro works withMIUI 11 based on Android 10. MIUI’s best feature is integrating huge customizable functionality right out of the box. From the ability to manage gestures, add themes, set active wallpapers on the lock screen, to enable a competent file manager or software for quick file sharing among other users. There are many nice additions to the interface if you are not too fixated on a clean Android OS. Nevertheless, a large number of third-party applications that are striking, many still repel. It seems that their number in applications is increasing with each subsequent update, and not everything can be deleted. Add to this spam notification bar, and you will very quickly become disappointed with the experience you wanted from a new phone. Of course, you can dive into the settings and disable most of these applications, however, most ordinary users will not do this. Iron performance The Redmi Note 9 Pro is back on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platform. While the Note 8 Pro offers the Mediatek Helio G90T, in the updated smartphone we get the Snapdragon 720G. The processor consists of 8 cores, two Kyro 465 Gold and six Kryo 465 Silver cores. In addition, it is supported by Adreno 618 graphics. As expected, daily performance is more than satisfactory. MIUI gets along well with the hardware, providing an excellent and pleasant experience. There is no hint of lagging or stuttering. Depending on the option selected, RAM may be different. I would advise gamers to stay away from the basic version with 4 GB of RAM. In fact, it will not be the best choice, and in terms of buying a phone, for the future, if you plan to use the gadget for several years. Despite the fact that the Snapdragon 720G is a mid-range chipset, it is able to work more efficiently with any application or game. I tested PUBG with maximum graphics settings, everything worked without any noticeable problems. Audio and sound quality Fortunately, the Note 9 Pro left a headphone jack. The audio output

offers fairly good quality and without noticeable hissing sound. I plugged a pair of 1More Triple Driver headphones into the audio output of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and the outgoing sound was loud, providing sufficient dynamic range. The sound coming out of the speakers is also loud, but lacks bass. Dual stereo speakers would definitely enhance the overall impression. If you plan to use Bluetooth headphones with Note 9 Pro, then the device supports AptX, AptxHD and LDAC kodaki. You are guaranteed to get high-quality sound if your headphones support the necessary codec. Large battery with slow charge Xiaomi has become a pioneer in the use of large 4000 mAh batteries in their phones. And Redmi Note 9 Pro takes a step forward. This time we get a battery with a capacity of 5020 mAh, which is more than enough for a long day of intensive use, or even for several days. After checking the phone in its own test, which launches the looped SpeedTest G, the device showed 6 hours and 22 minutes on the screen. Unfortunately, the charging speed is limited to 18 watts, and it took the device 140 minutes to fully charge the battery. Pricing for Redmi Note 9 Pro Value for money is a key selling point for the Redmi Note series. However, for the first time in many years, the competition made me think hard whether the Xiaomi smartphone really provides the best quality. The cost of Redmi Note 9 Pro starts from $ 177 (13.3 thousand rubles) for the basic version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, and reaches $ 232 (17.4 thousand rubles) for the model of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory in China and India. Naturally, prices for international versions for Russia and Europe will be even higher. Yes, if you want to get high performance at a low price, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro still provides excellent value for money. However, Realme 6 is superior to the Note 9 Pro with its high 90Hz screen refresh rate, as well as with a 64-megapixel camera that really shoots better. In addition, it supports 30W fast charging. Meanwhile, Poco X2 will offer you a fast Snapdragon 730 processor, a display with a 120 Hz panel and a 64-megapixel camera, for the cost of a 128-gigabyte version of Note 9 Pro. Total As always, the choice of smartphone is largely dependent on preferences. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is still rich in features and capabilities. The camera is above average, best-in-class internal components and a beautiful design at an attractive price. However, if you are more prone to gaming, a Poco X2 with a Snapdragon 730 chip and a 120 Hz display would be a better option. At the same time, Realme 6 delivers superior image quality. Along the way, you will also get a faster charge. Is it worth buying? Now everyone can find something for themselves, and Redmi Note 9 Pro is an excellent device among the growing range of mid-range smartphones. Which option do you choose? IQOO(5g phone)

The sub-brand strategy allows Chinese companies like OPPO, Lenovo and Huawei to take a new approach and be more flexible in existing trading channels. Vivo also follows the example of the mentioned giants with iQOO. The new brand begins the journey by launching smartphones of various classes, while the iQOO 3 5G is the flagship. Yandex.Direct Browser game in Russian 18+ iQOO 3 is the top model of the smartphone with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal memory with 5G. High-speed communication standards are still a far-off reality for Russia, as large operators are experiencing problems. Buy iQOO 3 5G on AliExpress How good is iQOO 3 5G? What is in the box? The iQOO received for review came to me in an ordinary box without inscriptions. Inside, I found: Smartphone iQOO 3 5G. 55W Charging Adapter Charging cable (USB-C). Headphones 3.5 mm. Silicone Case. SIM tray eject tool. Design and appearance If you read the characteristics of iQOO 3 above, you already realized that this is a smartphone monster, which is able to provide the best performance and gaming capabilities for today. At the same time, the device does not have a special design, which we are used to associate with gaming phones. The iQOO device aims to combine current trends in the mainstream smartphone. It has a large area, and the display has stretched to all corners of the front panel. iQOO uses Schott Xensation UP as protection for the front screen and Gorilla Glass 6 for the back. The smartphone comes in the colors of the case Volcano Orange, Quantum Silver, Tornado Black (orange, black and silver). The rear glass part received a gradient finish and a rectangular module for the main cameras, it protrudes slightly. Volume and power keys are easily accessible, provide good tactile feedback. On the left side there is a special button for calling a voice assistant (artificial intelligence). The metal frame around has also received two touch buttons for game triggers. As with other 5G phones, a large number of antennas are located at the edges. Fashionable curves help with a reliable grip and shimmer with charming gradient shades. The gadget is heavy, weighs 214 grams. The 4440 mAh battery is supported by super fast charging. As 5G rolls out, phones will become even more cumbersome, and IQOO 3 is a clear example. The device is assembled very high quality, in the hands it feels reliable. Smartphone display Samsung’s 6.44-inch iQOO 3 5G OLED screen received Full HD + resolution (2,400 × 1,080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a sensor refresh of 180 Hz. The display is compatible with HDR, a certified blue light filter with eye protection mode is installed. There is a small hole for the front camera in the upper right corner. In my opinion, such a compromise is better than teardrop-shaped or U-shaped solutions. The Super AMOLED panel displays colors accurately and provides deep blacks. When viewing at angles, there is minimal distortion, and visibility under the bright sun at a very high level. iQOO claims that brightness under certain conditions reaches 1200 nits. The lack of a higher refresh rate is a clear omission of the manufacturer, especially for a device positioned as a flagship. IQOO 3 cameras There are four camera holes on the back of the iQOO 3 5G – the main one with 48-megapixels, telephoto 13-megapixel lens, 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The main 48-megapixel lens, this Sony IMX582 (f / 1.79), produces 12-megapixel images (of course, if you do not insist on full resolution). The 13-megapixel telephoto lens with f / 2.5aperture is equipped with a 2x optical, and up to 20x digital zoom. The 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens copes well with colors, noise levels and contrast, correctly compressing more images in the frame. Yes, slight distortion at the edges is present, as well as softness at the corners. iQOO used the camera app from Vivo. All modes are located horizontally above the shutter button. Users here can easily switch between lenses. Pictures come out successful in the daytime, showing excellent dynamic range and natural color tones. But, a higher contrast would add quality to them. Noise levels are easy to control, reducing them under certain conditions. A telephoto lens shoots details well, like the hairs of a mustache or head. Yandex.Direct Online Space Strategy 18+ 16-megapixel front selfie camera produces ready-made photos for social networks. Details are a bit soft, mainly due to pre-applied beauty filters. Software Just as Realme uses the ColorOS shell for its smartphones, the iQOO UI is based on the Vivo Funtouch. By the way, the software design is very similar to Color OS. However, iQOO overlay is noticeably better than Funtouch OS. In addition, the interface is based on the Android 10 OS and received a lot of useful features. Users can choose between the application box and storing them on the main screen. The iQOO interface eliminates one of the serious problems of the Chinese brothers, combining notifications and quick settings into one access point. There are most of the necessary functions, dark mode, eye protection, capture, split screen, game mode, calculator, etc. All of them are presented in the quick settings menu. For performance enthusiasts, there is a special mode that further optimizes settings for faster loading and switching applications. Iron performance Phone iQOO 3 5G really has at its disposal all the modern resources. We get Qualcomm’s 7nm Snapdragon 865 mobile processor that delivers 25% better performance compared to the Snapdragon 855. iQOO also put LPDDR5 RAM (8/12 GB) and internal, UFS 3.1 standard (128/256 GB) here . Both types are the fastest available today. No wonder iQOO 3 is very fast! In addition to the best hardware in the class, there are triggers that come in handy in games like PUBG, Call of Duty Mobile, and even Asphalt 9. For those who prefer the traditional way of playing, a touch panel refresh rate of 180 Hz will certainly be useful. The device also boasts a carbon fiber liquid cooling system, which, according to the company, lowers the surface temperature by 3.5 degrees lower than usual. During my testing, the iQOO managed to keep the temperature low, despite all the aggressive performance tests. Benchmark Results Antutu: 583,837. AItutu: 448,505. Geekbench: 920 (single-core), 3312 (multi-core). Under the cover is a dedicated AK4377A Hi-Fi chip, which improves the sound in the headphones, since there is also a 3.5 mm jack. Speaking about biometrics and data security, it should be mentioned that iQOO 3 has a new generation optical fingerprint scanner with a GX chip. This is one of the fastest sensors on the mobile market, which is very reliable. Unlocking Face Scanning Face Unlock also works great. Communication and 5G networks 5G is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about new flagships. Although Russia is slowly approaching the creation of 5G networks, the feature can be valuable for consumers planning to use the device for more than 2 years. Perhaps this is not a decisive factor, but ceteris paribus, 5G support should be an advantage. The X55 multi-modem operates in the 2G, 3G, 4G bands and supports Sub 6 and mmWave, which is more useful for traveling people. You never know which of the standards operators support in a particular country. I tested iQOO 3 with 4G and did not notice any network problems or unexpectedly fast battery drain. Communication has always remained stable, and call quality is up to par. Autonomy iQOO 3 5G The monster from iQOO received a 4440 mAh battery, which helps to stay in touch during a busy day. I could easily get more than one working day without playing games. A complete 55W fast-charging device instantly replenishes the battery from 0 to 50% in just 15 minutes. Total iQOO 3 5G is an incredibly powerful smartphone that should appeal to hardcore gamers. The software is improved over the Funtouch OS, the autonomy is decent, and the 55 W charge is almost instant. Four main cameras provide excellent results, on a par with what we get from the flagship killers in this price segment. Is it worth buying? Yes. Even at a starting price of 40,000 p. ($ 600), this is a very good option, taking into account what you get.

Poco X2

On February 4, Xiaomi and its Indian division POCO, which in early 2020 became a separate independent brand, presents its new smartphone.

POCO X2 is not exactly the novelty that Pocophone fans have been waiting for a year, since the smartphone is essentially a rebranding of the Chinese version of Redmi K30 for the Indian market. However, the technical specifications and price still make you pay attention to this model.
In 2018, the mobile phone market saw a completely new budget model Pocophone F1, which combined flagship features and an affordable price. Surveyors and users immediately christened the new Xiaomi: “the flagship killer”!

Despite some shortcomings, Pokofon was in great demand and popularity. Fans of the line all the year 2019 waited in the hope of seeing the Poco F2, but the miracle did not happen. The leadership of the Chinese company really thought about curtailing production in the future, leaving only support for the existing model. And it was not just rumors, but a reality that was waiting for the fans if the Xiaomi leadership did not find one interesting solution.
There is also a good 20MP + 2MP front camera for selfies. The only drawback of this solution is that on the screen with a diagonal of 6.67 inches with a resolution of Full HD + in the upper right corner there is not quite a beautiful “hole”.

Other characteristics
POCO X2 is not a budget flagship, therefore, the processor uses the Snapdragon 730G chipset in combination with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. There will be options with less RAM.

Another feature will be the presence of NFC and a fingerprint scanner located not on the rear panel, or an integrated screen, but located on the right side (in the style of Honor 9X).

A battery capacity of 4500 mAh with support for fast charging of 27 watts will make the smartphone a good choice for those users who often use a mobile phone when traveling.

Why it is worth buying POCO X2?
If you like such a smartphone design, you need a 64 MP camera and are satisfied with its technical specifications, then buying will be a reasonable decision. Since POCO X2 is essentially a global version of Redmi K30 with all the corresponding advantages.

The user can safely install the latest MIUI 11 with the Russian language, Google services and other goodies. The Redmi K30 is exactly the same model, but with different color options that you can buy in the store and a different logo on the back. If you are not familiar with the nuances of buying the Chinese version of Xiaomi phone , then the decision to buy POCO X2 will save an inexperienced user from unnecessary problems.
At the beginning of 2020, Xiaomi decided not to close the POCO project, but to single it out into a full-fledged brand in order to strengthen its presence in the Indian market, which ranks second in the world.

POCO X2 presentation and online broadcast
Xiaomi’s novelty is presented in India, so the entire presentation will be held in English. You can watch the broadcast on the official POCO channel on Youtube for free and without registration.
Even if you do not have the highest level of English, you can understand 80% of what is happening on stage. Since Indian Xiaomi smartphone presentations are usually easily perceived by foreign viewers, unlike Chinese ones.

POCO X2 or Redmi K30?
All the latest news about POCO X2, leaks and why it became a rebranding of Redmi K30, we timely posted on Twitter Xiaomi . By the way, if you have not signed up yet, then you risk losing sight of a lot of interesting information.

POCO X2 is just the beginning, so fans of budget flagships should not be upset. A real Pokofon in 2020 will come out, and it will be a real “killer of flagships”, which by their technical characteristics have become even more productive and functional.
And the POCO X2 smartphone is just an opportunity to quickly bring to the Indian market a competitive model for Realme X2. Here, even the Redmi sub-brand had to share its “portfolio”.

Do not worry, there will also be a new powerful Redmi for India. This is the Redmi K30 Pro with the Snapdragon 865 processor, which will also be introduced in India shortly. This information has already been teased by the head of Xiaomi in India, Manu Kumar Jaina.

What is interesting POCO X2?
Its features: design, 64 MP camera and a 120 Hz screen refresh rate with Smooth AF technology. If we talk about design, the model immediately stands out on the market. About the “piggy bank” and Redmi K30 was not joked only lazy.
Camera
Four optical modules and a 64 megapixel sensor will not make the POCO X2 mega-cool camera, but you can definitely get good shots in bright sunlight. The possibility of a small image zoom, due to the use of several lenses: 8MP + 2MP + 2MP.

Also of interest are the official images, which show the Poco X2 packaging and delivery set. Buyers get a smartphone, a transparent case, a clip for a SIM card, a cable, a charger and a user guide.
In February 2020, Xiaomi introduced another new product, called the Pocophone X2 . The phone aroused interest due to the 64-megapixel photo module and a fairly powerful processor. We invite you to get acquainted with the capabilities and functionality of new items in our review.

Kit Composition
The device comes in a box of cardboard, on the back of which is the main technical information. Inside the box are a clip for removing the SIM card, a USB cable, a 27 W charger, a warranty card and user instructions.

Design features
The case was decided to be made of tempered glass Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The model is presented in pink, purple and blue. On the back surface, like the Redmi K30 , there is a mirror circle around the main camera. A little lower is the company logo POCO.

Color options for POCO India phone
The device received an innovative P2i nanocoating, due to which the product was splash resistant. However, it should be understood that the device will not stand a complete immersion in water.

POCO India has become the owner of a standard set of interfaces. These include an infrared sensor for controlling household appliances, a 3.5 mm jack for connecting a headset. There are light sensors, proximity, gyroscope, accelerometer, etc.

A feature of the modification is to change the location of the fingerprint scanner. Then it turned out to be placed on the side key, which at first seems very unusual. The sensor instantly responds when touched, clearly recognizes a unique pattern.

Screen quality
The novelty received a 6.67-inch LCD-sensor with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The aspect ratio is 20: 9 due to the very thin frames. The coverage of the NTSC color palette is 84%, and the maximum brightness is 500 nits, HDR10 is supported. In the sun, the device behaves quite confidently, practically does not lose brightness. Shades are transmitted saturated, contrasting and natural.

POCO X2 Screen Module
A distinctive feature of the modification is a custom cutout for the front camera. It is located on the right side in the upper part of the front surface. It is given the shape of an elongated rectangle with rounded edges.

Among the advantages of the display module is an increased refresh rate of the screen – 120 Hz. This ensures smooth and clear playback of even the most dynamic pictures, which will be especially noticeable during the game.

Performance level
The core of the POCO X2 smartphone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, which consists of 8 cores with a dual-cluster structure. The maximum frequency reaches 2.2 GHz. Video playback is entrusted to the Adreno 618 graphics accelerator with a clock frequency of 75 MHz.

According to AnTuTu testing, the device is gaining almost 235 thousand benchmarks. Such capabilities are enough to use all known applications at maximum settings. I would like to appreciate the reproduction of games at a speed of 120 fps, but most programs operate at 60 fps. In fact, the new Xiaomi phone was slightly ahead of the game developers when it offered to play at higher speeds.

AntTu test results for POCO X2
For cooling, the innovative LiquidCool Technology system is responsible. Liquid technology allows you to quickly reduce the temperature of the processor by several degrees, thereby preventing the likelihood of overheating.

Users are invited to use two nanoSIM slots, it is possible to install a microSD memory card to increase the amount of built-in storage. The phone works in 4G + / 4G / 3G / 2G networks, supports 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac and Bluetooth 5.0.

The sound of the speaker is at a fairly high level, wheezing and noise are absent. But its location does not seem to be the most successful, since if you take the device in your hand, the speaker turns out to be covered by it.

Photo Quality
POCO India has four photosensors:

Sony IMX686’s 64-megapixel primary sensor, which supports PDAF. Aperture – f / 1.89.
Two megapixel sensor for macro photography. He can take macro pictures at a distance of 2-10 cm.
8 megapixel wide-angle sensor. The angle of coverage is 120 °, and the aperture is f / 2.2.
By default, it is established that the main photomodule takes 16 megapixels in resolution. Accordingly, to get 64-megapixel photos you need to go to the settings and select the option you want. Please note that this will lead to “heavier” images, so you need more free space for storage.

Example photo on a POCO X2 smartphone
Photos are obtained with a good dynamic range, clearly traced shadow areas, and a high level of detail. There are no complaints about the wide-angle module, the panoramas are magnificent.

The disadvantage of a macro lens is that macro images remain detailed only in good light. If there is not enough light, then blurring of the picture is observed. When choosing portrait mode, the pictures are not bad.

The device can shoot video in 4K at a speed of 30 frames per second. It is possible to record a slow motion video of 690 fps. Unfortunately, there is no optical stabilization, because electronic stabilization does not always cope with the task.

The front photomodule is represented by two 20 and 2 megapixel sensors.

Battery life
The device has a 4,500 mAh battery. The chipset consumes energy rather economically, so one charge is enough for 1.5-2 moderate operation. To recharge the charge, a 27 W charger and a Type-C cable are used.

Appearance of the back cover of the smartphone POCO X2
Up to 100% battery capacity will be brought in about 1 hour.

In her review of the first volume of the manga, Anime News Network reviewer Rebecca Silverman noted that the focus of the story on Tanjiro’s desire to do everything possible to protect members of her family is typical of this kind of work [11] . The main difference, according to the critic, who makes the plot of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba unique, was Nezuko’s attempts to do the same for his brother,Noting the inconsistency of the author’s approach to the style of character depiction, Silverman praised the attention of mangakito the details, giving the reader the opportunity to fully appreciate the life and poverty of the heroes [11] . The observer saw the author’s shortcomings in the development of the plot of the manga, in which a large time period was made, which could have a significant impact on the development of Tanjiro’s character [11] . Summing up, Silverman emphasized that despite the fact that this work is debut for Koyoharu Gotoge and it shows a large number of mistakes of a newcomer to the industry, it also demonstrates a potentially interesting plot and setting , which makes it recommended for review

Kimi no na wa(your name)

The new creation was not just released on TV and Blue-ray, but also hit theaters, which helped to find a crowd of enthusiastic fans throughout the world. Let’s figure it out: is “Your name” so good as they say about it?

I watched the film with admiration, after which vague thoughts appeared in my head (“is it already over?”, “Why is everything so fast?”, “What happened to the others?”), Which suggest thoughts about the essence of the movie. As a result, I came to the conclusion that the feature film is banal. Yes, she is good, but very overrated, because all the surroundings and glow are held on soundtracks. Just listen to the song from the finale to understand what I mean.

In fact, we are faced with two boring characters. The feeling that the authors’ task was to push the pedal to the floor and fill the timing as quickly as possible, because the film disrupted the usual sequence of exposure, complication, conflict development, climax, denouement, familiar to understanding any plot. It would be best to shoot the series, telling the story in more detail. For example, “The City in which I am not” for twelve episodes reveals the main and secondary characters, creates intrigue and beautifully ends.

Despite his problems, the anime turned out to be kind and interesting. I advise everyone to view.

Films have been shot quite a bit as a girl pretending to be a boy; or how the souls of a girl and a boy exchange bodies; or how two opposite sexes of people get acquainted under strange circumstances, without meeting in person and at the same time there is a certain time section between them in space and time. And the result of all these films is the same: the boy falls in love with a girl and vice versa.

This Japanese anime under the name “Your Name” seems to have embodied all possible fantasy in its plot. And the creator seasoned it all with a delicious Love-Carrot sauce. The melodrama tells the story of two lost souls who are destined to be together with the threads of fate, but a comet falls between them and does not allow young people to know each other’s names. Then, between them an invisible connection is formed, passing through time, which changes the characters in places, so that they see each other’s life and help to find each other.

After watching the seemingly romantic anime, there is a creepy aftertaste, for: “And if indeed, I already met my soul mate, but I don’t remember his / her name? And now I’m tossing around in search of whom I myself don’t know? ”

This anime will not leave anyone indifferent. Here you will see how one character struggling with his fear is trying to save people; how the other does not take everything seriously and does everything “for fun”, but not to the detriment of others, but for the good; how the main character saves not only her life, but also the lives of others; as the main character, driven by an irresistible craving for a person, helps in saving souls.

Places that were collected in one painted picture, after viewing, you will want to find and plunge into serenity, peace and tranquility. The details are so beautifully drawn. Japanese culture will be interested in at least its myths and legends, closely intertwined with mysticism.

But perhaps it will be difficult for someone to perceive the excessive sentimentality of the drawn characters, and still try to overpower yourself and see how it’s worth it, you won’t be left without emotions and thoughts after watching it.

I think that many throughout their lives there is a longing and a feeling that we have lost someone and still can not find him. This often happened to me, especially in my youth. When friends are around, having fun and dancing, you go to the window, snuggle up to the glass and look at the starry night, as if trying to peer through time and distance to see where “he” is there and what “he” is doing there, and … who “he is such a? The one who certainly understands you is the very person you really need, the dearest, the closest and dearest … But you don’t know who he is …

“What is your name? …”

Did it happen to you that you woke up in the morning with tears and a feeling of longing? As if you could not find a place for yourself. It’s like you lost something important in me … You don’t remember, but you, too, lived a life there, did something, talked with someone … But don’t remember anything. And this is very, very important! Where do we wander in these dreams?

Perhaps I would have liked this anime movie more if I hadn’t already seen many more realistic films with a similar storyline. By the way, I remembered our “New Year’s tariff”. He is different, of course. But the stories have something in common.

On the other hand, throughout the viewing there was a certain feeling that my whole life had been watching me and my thoughts and experiences were being eavesdropped. Everything is very consonant with my experiences of youth, so the emotions of the heroes could not leave indifferent. It was like it used to be with me …

I remembered the words of my grandmother from the film that it is very important not to forget these feelings and extract from them something that they want to convey to us. “Your mother also had such dreams in her youth. And to me … But what are they about, I don’t remember ”(literally). No, this is more than fiction. It’s worth considering. After all, we all, growing up, lose something, something important … And what exactly, then we don’t remember.

It’s a difficult working week and the long-awaited Friday evening. Solitude, discontinued phone calls and just one question, what is there to look to further decorate this miracle?

If your choice, like mine, fell on this anime, then you, my friend, were not mistaken in it. Personally, it is always a problem for me to choose a movie to watch. Today, my choice fell on the anime “Your Name”. I got acquainted with the work of Makoto Shinkai recently, namely, I watched his other work, “5 meters per second”. Frankly, I did not particularly like it, but in a post to it, one of the viewers, as it turned out, accurately expressed the opinion that another Japanese work is much better. And I completely agree with him.

While watching you do not lose the thread of events, as it was in “5 meters per second”, everything is shown in beautiful colors, with not bad music. The plot is very exciting, at first you just enjoy what is happening, rejoice and sad with the main characters. During the climax, you begin to worry, you are very worried about what will happen next, what will happen, what is the next turn. And in the end you wait, wait with all your heart for this moment, this card, this long-awaited meeting, and you get it.

One friend of mine, in a commentary on a rather sad film, said: “Why make such films at all, it’s hard for people to live like that, is it really impossible to make a happy ending.” So here I, as a big lover of sad dramatic endings, I want to say Many thanks to the author for the final sketch. For these experiences, for the fact that I am once again convinced that there is still so much wonderful things that I have not seen!

About the masterpiece by Makoto Sinkaya, located in or near the topic, only the lazy did not echo. Bloggers and reviewers, talking about the picture, did not get tired of praising it tirelessly and ratings on many resources strive for their maximum values. And “Your Name” managed to get to Russian cinemas, not without the help of connoisseurs of the genre, which is rare for animated full meters from Japan. I think that all this made me expect something incredible and unforgettable from Your Name. Did it happen in the end ?! From the part. It’s difficult to find words for a picture … although there are two: “Indescribable beauty” (c). Indeed, the industriousness of these talented people who worked on the visual component can only be amazed. Frankly, one rarely sees such detailed visual bliss. Wow. Just for the sake of it is worth watching, objectively.

But what surprised me in the opposite direction was the content. A somewhat stereotyped introduction, a sticky narrative from which one is only tired and an openly predictable ending. In fact, we see only two parallel threads of history that are interwoven into one in the middle of the film, which with such timing (110 min) – well, it is very long. And the narrator also fails to surprise with a plot twist. There were several points, but they, too, in the end cause little surprise, something at the level: “Well, okay.”

I can hardly remember interesting secondary characters, except for the younger charismatic sister of our main character (such a coincidence, I forgot her name), a wise spiritual grandmother and a beautiful collaborator from the work of our main character and that’s all. And I note that all of them were revealed to us very weakly, but we insistently study only the main characters, which is somewhat strange to me. In general, everything was done so that the general public would like it, pop-like or something, and this, as we see from the result of “Your Name”, was one hundred percent successful.
